The beginning of the end. End of the beginning?
I can’t believe I’m entering my third year of law school. It’s been quite a ride, that’s for sure. Two years is enough to change anybody. And if I’m any gauge of the fact, it’s enough to effect some rather major change to a person, physically and mentally.
So this entry is dedicated to my 3L friends, who, tomorrow, will start the first day of the last year of a grueling three year ordeal. Namely: the first day of their 3rd year of law school. [Insert crazed scream here] It’s scary how fast time passes, isn’t it? Just yesterday it seems that I was just learning about res ipsa loquitur and about the difference between assault and battery and what a Rule 11 sanction was. It’s not time to fully reminisce yet (that will come next May. Or, better yet, next July.), but I just want to take the chance and shout out to my friends (1Ls, 2Ls, 3Ls, 4Ls, and 5Ls <– 5Ls, you’re old now!) and wish them the best of luck in the coming months.
And to those of you still lounging about the Tenderloin– don’t miss me too much! I’ll be back soon!
In the meantime, I leave you with this:
Onward and upward!
